I love our American brothers, served along some in Bosnia and have nothing but respect for the soldiers.

Why they are spoiling for a war with Iran is beyond me, but that’s george for you, the man is not one of the bright lights of the USA.
There’s crooked polititions everywere. Maybe I’d accept your continual ranting at our government if it wasn’t exclusively at our government.

Trust me when I say I got nothing good to say about Russia, half of Africa, most of the middle east, my own countries leaders and some of the folks south of us both.
But, we aren’t talking about that. If you wanna talk about what utter failures African nations are, ok, I’m down with that and fully agree that there needs to be some serious education going on on that continent.
The reason I rant about The US and Canada and G7 countries in general is because we are supposed to be upright nations, but demonstratively and historically, we are the furthest thing from that. democracy spelled with hypocrisy is just mental indigestion waiting to happen.
I got not problem with vaporising speed boats that break the perimiter. Everybody knows the rules.
Its the cold war game, fly your sh1t at their sh1t and see what happens. Test the defenses, put the team on edge, stare them down and see who blinks. Business as usual.
Bush may be a loser, but so is the prez of Iran. I believe Iran is working at destabalising the status quo. should it be destabalised, well, that’s another question.
They are exporting their mission, and the US is fronting them up on it. That’s the way its done. Darn right to fear the religious fundamentalists - on both sides.
Likewise, appeasement never worked either.
What bugged me was at how nervious the US radio man was, that was what was scary. Hoax? I doubt it.
