Not at all - seriously it’s a good movie. It’s an extreme adaptation of the pre Christianized, Coca-Cola-ized, Conde Nast-ized Father Christmas. The European/Scandinavian Father Christmas who was accompanied by little devils instead of cute elves and who would beat naughty children.
He should have been wearing green, but other than that - it’s pretty cool.
