You can link to an external pic but you can’t upload anything. It would be nice if one of the mods would let us know what the deal is.

but how do i link to an external link with out my avatar containing all the text and other junk on the page i’m linking to? the pic i want to use is one a page with 10 other pics and loads of text.
If your using Internet Exploiter, right-click on the image and choose ‘properties’. Then highlight the text in the “Address (URL)” section and right-click and choose copy. Then paste that into the URL section under your profile.

You can’t. The image has to be 50x50. Unless it is your website you cannot control the image properties. You will have to link to an image that is 50x50. The code is design to test the dimensions as well as the file size of all the images it encounters. Kinda sux huh?
