Taiji/Pa Kua schools
I know of an amazing teacher in San Francisco who teaches taiji/pa kua. He is the real deal and I’ll try and get his information for you. I think he has 35+ years in taiji (unsure exactly). Ill look around, he occasionally visits Alaska and is a good friend/former teacher of one of the three good taiji teachers here.
Although if you ever visit alaska, the three teachers worth getting ahold of in order of available and likelyness to take on students are: Warren Pretlow, Kurt Wong & Kevin Holthaus.

Thank you, Nexus.

If you don’t mind driving, Shyrfu John Price teaches Hsing-I Chuan near Redding. Here’s the URL to his web site..

If you are interested in learning how to fight with an Internal martial art then Shyrfu Price is your man.
p.s. He is also my instructor and I am quite happy with all I’ve learned from him.
Thank you Mojo
Thank you Mojo. I have friends and family in Redding. Perhaps I can arrange periodic private lessons.
Sincerely, Scott

I found it!!!
Scott, this is the guy you want to get ahold of if you want to learn high quality taiji or pa kua:
The location is: San Francisco, CA
From the school:
The INTERNAL LINEAGE TRADITION
Name: SIFU Quintsai Rong Zhou
INTERNAL LINEAGE TRADITION HOTLINE: 1-800-401-0300
He is absolutely amazing and anyone who has seen his skill first hand will almost certainly agree. If you get a chance to study with him you are extremely fortunate.
Good Luck to you,

Not sacramento, but maybe not too far
These folks are closer to Berkeley, but are not outrageously far:
Joe Crandall is pretty good at BaGua and Xingyi, and teaches out of Pinole:

Hong ZhongNan is very good at Wu Taiji, and lives in Walnut Creek. You can reach him via Alvin Chew taijiren@yahoo.com
