stretching

just wondering what some of the stretches you guys do are. :cool:

As a stretching routine I practice Yoga in addition to martial arts.

Everything I can to get into a split. Standing touching the floor with my palms, pulling behind my ankles/heels, calfs, windmill stretch. Sitting hamstring stretch and abdominal stretch, split leg and bending, butterfly stretch (first), then up into a front split, then side splits, then partner stretching on the wall (and sometimes the floor). In kung fu, we add elbow-to-toe.

For abs nothing beats and iron bridge. For the back, reverse toe touch.

Not too much, I guess. There are other stretches that I do on my own at times like grabbing your left hand behind your back with your right hand going over the right shoulder (and vice versa), both hands clasped behind the back, and pull behind the elbow over the head and in front.

I think thatโ€™s about it.
