Is anybody familiar with this book? Has anybody here trained with Mr.Rovere?
The book
The book you are referring to is a complete translation of Huang Po Nien’s Hsing-i Fist and Weapon Instruction (1928). It shows the use of hsing-i in rifle and bayonet and two handed officer’s sabre. It is the first in a series that we are putting together. You can ask Mr. DeVere at emptyflower.com what he thinks of the book as I know he has read it.
As for those people who may have trined with me, there are very few as I don’t run a martial arts school.
