The CLF guy is definately from the Poon Dik lineage as he is doing part of our sup gee kow dah form.
That Set Is Different Than What You Guys Put On Tape Then Right?
The CLF shown in the clip you put up shows a small portion of our set. It is not different from what is on our DVD it comes from the 1st Quarter of the form more or less.
Thats Funny, I Always Thought We Were The Only One Who Quartered Up Sup Gee Into Smaller Forms. Thats Cool.
Peace
No we don’t quarter up the forms into smaller forms. What I am saying is the guy is just showing some CLF and it happens to be just a portion of sup gee.
was that lo wai keung on there? doing lama?
What style was the guy in the red top at the 3 minute mark doing?
Pretty impressive.

I think it’s Lau Gar
A very spectacular showing of Southern styles.
Nanquan
THIS ONE I LIKE. STRONG. KINDA SEEMS ALOT LIKE CHOY LEE FUT.
BUT HE’S STRONG.
Very cool.
Speaks wonders that the bulk of the guys in that video are older. I suppose they’ve been keeping their training and arts private during the post-cultural revolution period in China.
With the ongoing loosening of the PRC government’s control and strict authoritarian methods, we may see a whole generation that brings some hidden gems of traditional MA from China. If I was a tourist I’d look up these guys rather than waste my time with the silly Shaolin opera arts.
I’ll be sure to pass this one on!
Thanks.
