On Sat. March 9th, 2002 we lost a good friend Mr. Ken Lee of Kinji San
M.A. supply. Ken always had a good story and new just about everyone in
Martial Arts from east to west coast. Ken personally introduced me to
two of my instructors. My deepest condolences to the Lee family.

Passing
Hello Sam,
While I did not know the person you mentioned, I share in feeling sad for the loss. When anyone passes on then it effects those left behind. When one loses a true friend or someone who influenced them, then there is a void left behind.
Please rest assured that you and the family of Mr. Ken Lee are in my prayers. I wish this time to be one of transition and that those who are still here will be able to find the strength to carry on.
Peace,
Dave

Hi Sam,
My condolences. I used to go to Ken’s store often before I moved to Connecticut around 1989. Ken-Ji San was the place to buy martial arts supplies. We talked often about Hung Mun. I’m 53 now and I think he was younger than me. I don’t want to appear rude, but how old was he and how did he die?

Thank you for your kind words Dave and Phil. The post I made was from my Sifu James Cama from his web site though I new Ken also and will miss him. I believe Ken was 58. He fought a long battle with cancer.
