OT: Q. for Music Buffs.

Hi All.

I need to quiz the collective brains of our resident Music Buffs.

I need the details of the ending tune to the following Movie:

Year: 1970
Composer: Francis Lai
Title: Love Story
Actors: Ryan O’Neil & Ali MacGraw.
Saying: Love means never having to say you’re sorry …

The ending piece like most of the soundtrack is purely instrumental.

So anybody know the Song Title??
Can anybody even remember the Movie??

Thanks, in advance.

P.S.: One of the few Movies where me and the lil Wie fight over the Box o’ tissues.

Was it Billie, Don’t be a Hero?

The Night Chicago Died?

Xanadu, by Olivia Newton John?

I know, it was Dream Weaver.

Sorry, just trying to get some horrible music going in all your heads.

From the Internet Movie Database, soundtrack Listing for Love Story.

“Concerto in D Major”
Written by Johann Sebastian Bach

“Sonate in F Major”
Written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

“Joy To The World”
Written by Georg Friedrich Händel and Isaac Watts

“A Fair Rose Is Blooming”
Written by Michael Praetorius

I would guess that you mean “A Fair Rose is Blooming” but I haven’t seen this particular weeper.

Hi Chang.

Thanks, for the Info.

IMO, still the best Love story movie out there.

“Oliver’s Story” (1978) the sequel was BAAD.

Am I showing my Age here???

“Arthur” also had a good Soundtrack.

The greatest ever soundtrack is from F.F.Coppola’s “Apocalypse Now”. The title track of The Doors’ “The End” is amazing.

Fact of the Day: Mr Clean is actually a 14 year old Lawrence Fishburne.
