Want to be in Jet Li’s next movie? A casting call for a new film
project has just been announced. Not only is Jet Li starring, but
it’s being directed by Ronny Yu (The Bride with
<http://www.kungfucinema.com/reviews/bridewithwhitehair.htm> White
Hair, Freddy vs. Jason). Production on the untitled film is set to
begin in China in March of 2005 and end in July.
The film tells the story of Chinese martial arts master Huo Yuanjia
(1869-1910). Huo Yuanjia was the founder and spiritual guru of the
Jin
Wu Sports Federation.
Casting agents are now actively looking for screen fighters and
martial
artists who fit one or more of the following profiles:

Bulky Western fighter - tall, big and muscular (wrestler
type)

Martial arts specialist - genuine martial arts skills in one
or
more styles (weapons use, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, etc.), acting skills a
must (may have important fight scenes with Jet Li!)

Martial artists and fighters from all nationalities with
different
fighting skills and styles
