Good stuff! Thanks Jim!

Hi Jim

Since Leung Yee Tai learned from Chi Sim does that mean the Chi Sim Weng Chun comes from Leung Yee Tai instead of Wong Wah Bo ?

First off, Jee Shin, the supposed abbot of the Southern Shaolin Monastery is pretty much a mythical character as are the others of the so-called five elders (including Ng Mui). Secondly, just as many southern systems trace their roots back to Ng Mui, there are many that claim Jee Shin as their founder. Through the Wong Wah Bo – Leung Yee Tai story, Wing Chun claims connection with both Ng Mui and Jee Shin.

But remember, …its a story.
