Don’s Lohan book
Have never seen Don’s Lohan book.
Most of my books on 18 Lohan are in Chinese. 1 is a direct translation. They are all by Chinese people. One of the books has 2 sets of names for each posture. One set is obviously very old as some of the characters are not in modern dictionaries.
I did’nt find any moves that left the head wide open and since the author is different I wonder if it is the same form. Could you say the names of a few moves in the beginning of the form?

Unforunetly, there are no Chinese charecters in this book (not that I could post them anyway). I hope this helps. The book is from a martial descendant of Shaolin Temple Monk, Sik Koe Chum who moved to singapore in 1947 and then Malaysia in 1955 His school is called Hook Kar Pai.
The 8 step book in English was bought in Boston China town. It has no explanations of applications.
All the others are in Chinese, including the book that has the 2 man version.

Yes, Shou means small.
I didn’t understand the question from the paragraph with Hong Chuen.

I was replying to stuff Gene had said.
The books don’t show applications. They show how to do the form with a partner. Which I think is better than applications as you learn the escapes and counter attacks for each movement.
