The nylon and metal fan at martialarts mart is good.. Iāve broken the rivet, reglued the nylon to the metal.. but all in all, it has taken one hell of a beating. I drop it like a million times a session when Iām practicing a few different things with it (luckily I havenāt during competition).

Unfortunately, all of the available metal fans are too short.
Beijing Imports in Houston, Tx. carries a decent bamboo fan (both right and left hand - no artwork, and in the 12 inch and 15 inch lengths.
Now, if anyone can tell me where I can find a 15 inch metal fan (I donāt even care if there is tacky artwork on itā¦I can always change the materialā¦
