That is commendable. Any student showing an understanding of what he is doing will quickly shut up the people who may feel the need to criticize him. Furthermore, understanding will eventually lead to higher knowledge.

Then yesterday they closed out with a “30 Most Hip-Hop” countdown of the most influential alltime people in the game, as voted for by DJs, rappers, etc. Then after all that, they had a mix by Jaguar Skillz which basically went through the whole history of hip-hop, year by year, featuring 538 songs in an hour.
