GiGi was easy to spot. Not too many people at Taiji Legacy were walking around with a camcorder and wearing a Got Qi? shirt.

If I’m not mistaken, MK studies mostly from the 5 Northern families…
I study a bit of the Nanjing long fist, some of the 5 Northern families (now, just sort of started getting in to that), some contemporary, and some taiji.

LOL… well, you did everything pretty well (except that darn sitdown stance)…
I nailed that stance at the AAU Championships 3 weeks later.
I lost 1st place in open weapons to a Contemp. Wushu player by .05 points.

Gigi did put it aside for me, but then we lost it again. Forgive me, we work with all sorts of crazy deadlines around here so sometimes things like that literally slip into the cracks. I may have to wait until I can see it live. Maybe next year…
As for spotting us, we’re always easy to spot. We’re loaded down with recording equipment and we usually wear got qi? gear (although lately, I’ve shifted to got game? , but that’s even easier to spot).
Right on Gene… are you going to be at any tournies outside of Cali this year?

I’m hoping to make it out to Jimmy’s this year - I’ve always enjoyed that event but his 2003 date conflicted with another obligation of mine. Gigi might take over that role though - I think she had a really good time this year. We’ll see.
I’m also slated to go out to the Zhang San Feng fest - I’m even doing some sort of seminar there. That’s it so far. Maybe another trip to Vegas soon, for a trade show. I’ve been invited as a guest of a potential vendor. We’ll see. It’s way to early to think about that now. I’m just trying to make it through the holidays.
Right on, we’ll definitely be at Jimmy’s tournie again this year. I’m trying to get funds together to go check out one of the Cali tournies this year, NM tournie, and a couple others more than likely.. we’ll see how much funding I can handle though, these things get expensive.
