**** it gene. i picked up a version of new police story in china, but no english sub’s. so i left it in hangzhou with some of the kids.
now i guess i will buy it from mam.com later today of course :wink:

Personally, I’ve been a little disappointed with the sales of this DVD. I was expecting more from the holiday rush. Word hasn’t got out that far yet and I think the MA community are skeptical of Jackie’s work now and unwilling to invest in a high price DVD, sight unseen. But take it from me and NP, it’s a good one, the kind of movie you like to be the first one on your block (or in your wushuguan) to have. :cool:

nah i didnt watch it. i picked a bad time to watch it, all the kids wanted to watch some kareoke dvd. but yes gene, i just purchased it along with 1 and 2 from you guys. :wink:

oh i love police story one. the opening scene where they tear ass through that ghetto city down the hill is awesome. and his fight scene in the mall at the end is nice too. police story 2 i dont remember well except for the ending. you guys need to carry the chinese release of police story 3 :wink:

…only our supplier hasn’t been able to secure a good version. There may be some rights issues involved with the American version. I’m not sure about that. Unfortunately, we’re big enough to catch the attention of companies with controlling interest in these movies so we must mind our P’s and Q’s.

ooooh :(. police story 3 is one of the harder ones to find an hk version of. i have found police story 4 first strike hk version easily along with many other jackie chan movies released in the usa, like twin dragons, rumble in the bronx, eastern condors, etc. but not supercop :frowning:
