Leung Shang/ Leung Ting differences, similarities?

What are the main differences between Leung Shang and Leung Ting Wing Chun? Leung Ting is always talking about how he learned the real kung fu from Yip Man and had to change a lot of what he was taught in Leung Shang’s school. What exactly did he change? Do people from Leung Shang’s line agree or disagree with Leung Ting’s methods? Are there any recognizable similarities in Leung Ting style that could only come from the Leung Shang line? I’ve never experienced any Wing Chun from the Leung Shang line, this is why I ask. I’ve trained with a couple of Wing Tsun guys and saw Ting’s books and videos though.

Dude, I just read this word for word over at a different forum, do you just go around cutting and pasting **** from different forums? Samson, you are an idiot!

Dude I wrote it on a different forum, be nice don’t jump the gun

Samson,

Leung Sheung line runs the spectrum from Ken Chung to Leung Ting to Emin Boztepe to Chung K Chow. I haven’t worked with any of CKC’s people, but his look on tape is a bit different to me. The KC folks I’ve trained with use a similar ‘engine’ and have similar mechanics to WT, with some minor technical differences, and a fairly different focus in training approach and focus. The basic body use is fairly close- much closer than what I’ve seen from Moy Yat (Benny’s people before HFY), or HKM (AF or other variants).
