I’ve been huntin’ and peckin’ trying to find information about this style.
So far, it seems there’s little information about it on the Internet. I’ve been able to learn George Xu is well-known in the US as a player.
Anyone have any good information available?
George Xu is awesome, if you are ever in S.F. you must book some lessons with him.
I have an extensive article with him and the Lanshou Art
from Journal of Chinese Martial Arts/sSpring 2001,
If You like I can copy it for you, in return for Kinko fee & Postage.
Also next year there George is having a group trip to
Shanghai for Xinyi and Lanshou Training.

Lanshou
The late Jane Hallender did a piece on Lanshou in our June 2000 issue. It featured Scott Jensen of Berkeley, who learned Lanshou from Liu Wanfu.
I have one of George Xu’s videos regarding Jian training and I have to say, that guy is majorally skilled in Kungfu.
It’s possibly one of the most impressive demonstrations I’ve seen of Classical chinese swordsmanship.
