Kung fu pantz?

Hey gang!

Suffering from an extreme case of bruises today, courtesy of Sifu Totten and one of his junior instructors - god, getting old sucks! Truer words have never been said; no pain, no brain…wait a minute…?

Anywho, I’m trying to find some specific kung fu pants, but with a special cuff at the bottom. The cuff is not like a typical drawstring, but more like the sleeve cuff on a varsity jacket. Sort of like the waistband on a pair of boxing trunks - catch my drift?

I’m not sure if martialartsmart.com carries these particular pants. Anyone know for sure (assuming you know what the heck I’m talking about), or know of any other links that might carry these pants?

And for the Christians or otherwise, Happy Easter and God Bless everyone.

Hey African Tiger,

Is Carl still on Burbank? Go out the front door and turn left. When you get to Lankershim go north 1 block. Valley Martial arts has the ones with the cuffs.

PS, you got a few good years left before you are old as me

I have a pair of the ‘kung fu pants’ from Martialartsmart.com. There pretty cool and comfortable. They have the cuff your are talking about around the waist, but not around the ankles. it still has some elastic, but not as much as you seem to be looking for. the waist is also very tight, perhaps so that you don’t have to wear a belt around your midsection with them, either way it kind of makes my stomach hurt when I sit down.

You are looking for “Bruce Lee pants”. You can get them anywhere and everywhere. I find ones with strong elastic at teh ankles cheaper and more comfortable (even though proper cuffed ones are supposed to technically be “better”) although sometimes if yuo wear them for sustained periods, and as you’ll probably wear them with songs, it sometimes used to get TOO tight and start to hurt. It also irritates hairs around your shin/calf area, if you have any.

It shouldn’t be a hassle finding any. The pants will be v baggy but with cuffed ankles, for obvious reasons.

Here in Oz it’s a nightmare trying to find KF pants that don’t have the cuff! Took me ages.

Here in the UK as Sharky say’s you can get cuffed kung fu pants anywhere. The problem we have is the same as straight blast in Oz, tying to get a pair of kung fu pant that don’t have cuffed ankles is a nightmare.

I still can’t find non-cuffed ones. Where from UK guys???

I got mine from Jonie Uniforms in the USA, cost me an arm and a leg in VAT and import duties. However since then I found out KWON sells them but I couldn’t tell you the price.
