I’m debating on starting up a Kung Fu IRC channel on the Undernet network, and was wondering how many of you thought you’d be interested in a chat that is available 24 hours a day via Internet Relay Chat.
For those of you who don’t know, get mIRC (the program to access IRC) from www.mirc.com There is instructions on how to download, install, and use the software.
It would be nice to chat with some of you real-time:)
So, if you think you’d use this, let me know and I’ll get one started:)
Well there is a place on KFO where you can chat real-time. It’s not IRC though, looks like it’s a Java app based. the URL in case you didn’t know it is: http://www.kungfuonline.com/chat.html
I’m aware of the online chat (And am there now… just got back from dim sum… mmm)… but it’s a java chat without an IRC server… which means its quite lacking in functionality (operators/moderators, etc)…
Unstoppable: You must have been mistaken, or been seeing my name after I had left… I’m there in the chat now… and we’ve been discussing your great website:)
Anyway… I may go ahead and set up the channel… guess we’ll see what other sorts of replies I get here:)
We’ve registered #cma on the Dalnet IRC network. We’ve already got a few regulars in there (WushuChik, Xebs, Chris, myself) and we’re looking for more… so feel free to stop by:)
If you need an IRC client (program), go to www.mirc.com
