kung fu entertainment

do you guys remember linda lee’s short lived, MAC? martial arts championship(?)
(if memory serves). it was a martial arts version of WWF/WWE, where ‘contestants’ did mortal kombat type moves in a point sparring format?..

well anyway, i saw some clips on youtube of a chinese version of this type of show, and i think they got it right.

it’s called ‘wudang kung fu fights championship’.

that shows ok, but it would be better if they didnt wear those big poofy chest protectors. and hide them under shirts like we didnt know any better.

indeed! the gear makes them look like they are wearing those sumo suits.

there is no head shot, thus no head protective gear.

no biting no pinching etc etc
