OK, so I admit, I was a wee bit impressed with the way he’d developed his game before the Mercer fight, but the fact remains he beat a has-been with 13 years on him (no offence to Mercer - but he had his time)…
And now he calls out another has-been! This time a has-been brawler! Well, he’s worked out how to run the media all right: now everyone (including me) will want to see him against Tank, and he gets another win before he has to fight anyone with any skill.
Incidentally, cage promoter guy was the worst I’ve ever seen.

I don’t know what kind of shape Abbot is in these days, but I’d put my money on him. Of course, I havn’t watched a UFC type event since Abbot beat Taktarov with a fishhook and an eye gouge, proving once and for all that cat scratches and eye pokes really can defeat a grappler.
