I’ve been searching around for places that sell and deliver kettlebells in the UK but they seem sooo expensive. The only two sites I’ve found so far are
I can’t really afford to fork out that kind of money just yet, I could get a 145kg olympic barbell set for around the same price! Anyone know any others or happen to be selling any second hand ones? how do these prices compare to the US? If I could get someone to make an adjustable handle (somehow) to fit onto a dumbell would this work the same?
The non-Pavel kettlebells looks like quality products even look more durable than Pavel’s kettlebells. I have even email them about the cost of their kettlebells and bear clubs in US dollars. In addition, according to cost in pound, the non-Pavel KBs is alot cheaper. I am seriously going to buy if the price is right and if they are lot stronger than Pavel’s KB. I am so afraid to throw my kettlebells around even on grass. LOL.
Since I spent a good amount of money on a pair of 16Kg KBs, I am very cautious of dropping them on the ground. I would trust to drop my KBs on sand, but I dont live near the beach. If you dropped it on gravel than I will try to be less nervous about hurting my KBs. As for the UK’s KBs looks prettier than Pavel’s KBs and I am interested in those Indian Clubs. I think Indian Club training could be effective training in wing chun gung fu. I am wondering where can I get quality KBs/IC at a decently low price in the USA.
Can you do me a favor? I believe your UK kettlebell company hates asian yanks. LOL. I have emailed that UK company for information twice about on the 20 Kg kettlebell and the pair of 10kg bear clubs. Can you call them and save me the long distance phone call and ask how much are these products in US dollars including Shipping and Handling? I am assuming you are from the UK?
I will help you on your search for a full time wing chun camp. I personally think Duncan Leung is absolute an amazing wing chun master and his training camp is in canton region in China. You may get more information about his camp in china on his web site. I think Victor Kan, Lok Yiu, Yip Ching are the main WC branches in the UK area.
I would highly recommend that you investigate all methods of wing chun and believe me just because it has the same name doesnt mean it all the same. Find out what works for you and be open minded to test all possible choices before you made a commitment. Even tho you find something good for you, know there is always something equal or greater. Let common sense be your guide.

Hey Bao - just so you know, Dragondoor now offers 20 and 28 kg kbells. Also, you can get shot-loaded KBs in the states nowadays from a couple manufacturers, which might be a good alternative.
BTW the Matt Furey tapes were worth watching once, but I can’t bring myself to watch them again - too boring. Worth the price you gave me so thanks.
Glad you liked the tapes. Personally Matt Furey’s products are for the burds. Do you know about Indian Clubs? Where can I see other USA based KBs. I hate supporting ex commies. Reminds of ‘Animal Farm’ the book. How the pigs becames the human masters themselves.

No harm or no foul. I gave a reference to book called “Animal Farm,” which was a humorous book about Communism and some of its problem, to my comments which should have lead readers who read this book to believe I was kidding. My parents are refugees and left for American because they didnt want to live the Animal Farm way of life. I am proud of the American way of life and ideals. God bless America!
You have saved me a ton of money, LOL. These are the cheapest set of KettleBells I have seen and the price is perfect. Looks like the same quality of as Pavel’s Kbs but designed differently. If it is made from cast iron, I will purchase it. I have emailed the company for more information of these Kbs. Thanks.
