My job has been sucking extra recently plus I seem to be busy with all this other s.hit recently so if I’m not here that’s why.
I’ll still browse when I have the chance but you might not get many of my novel-length replies for a while.

Thanks. Did you ever figure out if you had mono or not?
Nup. I couldn’t be bothered visiting the doc. No more symptoms now, except my glands remain rock-hard. I’m training at full capacity again - I only took 2 weeks off in the end.
If you only had it for two weeks you got off easy.
Good to know that you’re feeling better, tho. ![]()

Thanks. The glands on my neck are telling me I might still get worse though. I’ll be happy when they subside. Dunno how long that’ll take.

I like the smiley at the end :p. My wife also had lumps on her thyroid and for a while was convinced it was cancer. Extensive testing ruled it out with 95% c.i. Me? Dunno. Hope not.

good. you sucked anyway.
Just kidding.
hope work evens out for you.
I’ve pretty much just said ‘Fudge it’ at work…why should I stress out trying to maintain my high standards when my bosses standards are much less than those I set.
anywhoo, if I have a question, I’ll hit you on the pm.
Toby, “c.i.” = certainty index?
Confidence interval. Standard statistics term. Basically (it seems to me - I may be wrong) that most doctors’ forms regarding tests and/or surgery have things like that. My wife had to do some tests that involved twilight sedation and the forms mentioned that there was a chance of death from the procedure and the patient had to sign their consent (and probably waive liability). I think that to cover their assses, doctors always give themselves a little leeway. Like saying they’re 95% sure someone doesn’t have cancer so that in case they did and the doctor’s tests were crappy, the doc couldn’t be sued.
I see.
