About 4 minutes into your video it says Yuen Hai’s widow taught Lau Bun a 5 animal form. I know you’re not much into forms, but I wonder if this got passed down through any of Lau Bun’s students or relatives and if there are an any videos of it out there.
there are many within the lau bun lineage that know our 5 animal form. and yes, our form is definitely found on youtube
Oh, I see you posted it 13 years ago. It does not seem to have the opening moves, but then I only learned only smaller segments of it as drills. Wonder if there are any additional opening moves to this. It seems to have all the closing moves:

its 3 opening moves missing. basically that’s the form. he’s not a hung sing man so he doesn’t do it like us. this set is unique. not another one like it on earth.
Yeah, the fact that its 3 opening moves were missing makes it even more unique! It would be nice to see a video from a second source. I wonder if Doc-Fai has it entangled somewhere with all his forms from different branches. I don’t think anyone that learned it in Los Angeles remembers the whole thing…
