Check out Sammo Hung’s Magnificent Butcher. Excellent movie! Sammo plays Lam Sai Wing and uses lots of Hung Gar. His style in the movie is even referred to as the “Hung Fist”. He actually learns Hung Gar’s 12 bridges from Beggar So in the film.

yes I know of the Leidenfrost explanation. However I’m not talking about dipping a hand in something and pulling it out very quickly or licking something hot very quickly. I’m talking about things which are much longer and more dangerous to do.
Physicists have alot of explanations and some have merit yet others are ludicrous. Explanations are only one possible reason for things, that does not necessarily mean that they are right. Alot of those so-called explanations use straw men demos and explain them. That’s like me seeing someone break granite block with his head the size of a desk. Then a scientist comes along with a concrete slab and explains that this and that is the reason for it being possible to break something with the human head without injury. Doesnt’ work for me. Besides I know of enough experiments done that don’t come up with explainations on these things. One of the men I speak of was tested by the gov’t and gov’t scientists they could not explain it. Other studies have shown the same results. Looking at US Open martial arts breakers and explaining those feats with our understanding of physics now is different than explaining the higher stuff out there. Unless those scientists can pour boiling oil over themselvs without injury in an experiment where one of those guys gets the same oil on him at the same time and they both come out fine, I don’t buy their explanations. Like if physicists could replicate spontaneous human combustion with a cigarette they would get a Nobel Prize for their work. Leidenfrost effect cannot explain everything.
I’m not speaking against you so please do not be offended. I am just speaking my mind on his issue. BMW magazine had a article two issues ago about a TKD practioner breaker that they filmed using special high tech cameras to observe what exactly was going on. Interesting results.
