Just got in a couple o’ books: Hsing I: Chinese Mind Body Boxing ( Robert Smith) and Xing Yi Nei Gong (Dan Miller, Tim Cartmell). Just wondering about other’s experiences with these.
I’m looking to learn a tiny bit o’ Hsing I, eventually from a teacher [which’ll be around December], and I’d like to apply it to my art. To improve, or whatever. It’s late. Too late for deep thought.
i’ve got the second book.
i think its excellent. i recommend the exercises in it and also the rest, its tough going but thats because its a good ‘olive’
i’m too lazy to practise though which is a shame.
best of luck
Yeah, I just got started on the XingYi Nei Gong. Looks awesome. Definetly going to incorporate much of this into my workouts once my ribs are all attached right.
hi vash,
what is isshinhyro or what u do? is it japanese / internal etc?
also if u r recopvered form injury - u mention the ribs, the nei gong exercises are supposed to be excellent for recovery too.
