I train in Black Tiger gung fu and was wondering if anybody else does. I wouldn’t mind some criticism on my training routine.
Strength training: Mon, Fri
20 sec push ups
single leg squats
Rollies
chin up ladder
pylometric push up
Frog jump or Squat
I usually do as many as I can of each and repeat once or twice
I run 3 miles or so on Mon, Wed and Fri
On wendesday I have class so take it easy
Every day I practice forms, stretching and techniques as well as chi kung and meditation
Any advice would be great
ten seconds to the ground. Ten seconds back up againg.
Rollies; you start with only your ass on the ground and rock from hip to hip without letting your legs or torso touch the ground.
I find it works the whole lower trunk
I forgot to mention that I also do deadlift, bent rows and squats as well as intense grip training

I recommend the push ups, I can only do four with a decent form.
