I’ve got to say, I’ve a new respect for my favorite kung fu star.
masterkiller = best kungfu movie ever.
that is all ![]()
i saw him in person when he came to america for the first time a couple years ago to visit master hu. i was gonna go up and say hi but i chickened out :(. my friend got a copy of shaolinmaster killer signed by him :D. the pictures used to be on wushucenter.com but they took them down. it was in 2001 i believe.
He should make a sequel (modern not the remake of return of the master killer), or another flick but not with guns, gangs and stuff.
Nah its good the way it is. Reminiscent of the old ways kung fu films are made.
It’s good to see him saying the following…
"It seems many now think that traditional Shaolin kung fu is about wushu, which is really about sport and flair and not the real Shaolin martial arts. So now even people go to the Shaolin temple wanting to learn Shaolin martial arts. And although some do train very hard, they’re not learning authentic Shaolin kung fu.

Who is Gordon Liu?
I loved that interview…
…it’s one of the my favorite pieces that we’ve published on the e-zine of late. Tell your friends when they try to impress you with their Kill Bill knowledge to check this one out to get the real deal.
MK - lol.
No, Gene, I’ve met him…
He might be serious…lol

there are two other master killer movies. They were just rereleased by shaw brothers. I have one of them that is a lot lighter in tone than Master Killer but very good.
Just saw his performance as Bai Mei in Kill Bill v2. He was awesome.

I haven’t been able to find Disciple of the 36th Chamber on DVD in a region 0 format. Return to the 36th Chamber isn’t even related to the first movie, but you can’t beat Rooftop Kung Fu.

Gordon Liu was the best thing about KB, IMO. well, once you get past all the hot chicks and ultraviolence, it was definately Gordon…
