thnx for infos but do u know where i can get those book? lol prolly can’t find it in amazon havn’t try but i don’t have an english title…btw it’s ok if it’s all in chinese since i m chinese ![]()
Well; depends on where you live.
I knew the book stores in China town may carry them.
the Great Walls bookstore is the best bet.
Tai Chi vcd and books are carried by most Chinese bookstores.
Not all the styles are carried though.
If not; ask the bookstore owner to order for you.
Best of luck.
However, you do have to practice and learn the moves first before the contents of applications mean anything to you.
Find a good teacher nearby is most important.

i live in gainesville, fl. there are 2 chinese grocery store but that’s it…

Old Frame Chen Family Taijiquan: Taijuquan by Kenneth Chung
i found it once not sure if they still have it at borders. looks pretty good, lots of pictures for each movement. they got push hands and applications. i think i might get that for now
hi;
in that case, whatever is available is a good way to start.
you may need some video info since there are only static pictures in the book.
you may go to any public library video section and loan any videos available on Yang Tai Chi or simplified 28, 42 or 48 forms for free.
and check out the forum sponsor site for videos, too.
I recently got this DVD http://store.yahoo.com/ymaa/taijclasyans3.html
It breaks everything down pretty well.
thnx for replying, i think i m going to find that chen style book, going to ask my mom who is in hk to look for it
i got the book on yang style by yang jwing ming. good book. how do you like the video? how about putting the dvd up on www.kungfu-torrents.com
