The price has gone up almost 100% in the last few years, they are certainly more expensive than most. Also, six years ago I ordered a couple of dozen of their weapons for my classes and got four or five obviously warped ones. I know that happens with wood, but I’m surprised they send them out that way… I didn’t bother returning them (they didn’t cost as much back then) and we still use them as wasters for fencing practice.
I’ve had good experiences ordering equipment from Martial Arts Mart practically since they’ve started. The gear is as advertised, IME, and customer service is good. The one time there was a problem with my order it was completely fixed with one phone call.

So… I’d be paying twice as much for warped materials?
Especially for today’s prices you could have them replaced by the company (they are actually a Japanese-style martial arts school at the University of Guelph, and agreeable people), but I was disappointed by the warped ones. I wouldn’t put a warped weapon in a box to send to a customer myself. The reason I bring them up is that when they are good, they are really good. They are sturdy, we haven’t broken one yet after six years of training with them. I’ve had other, brand new, wooden weapons from our local retailer break just from being dropped on the floor!

Do me a favor and stop ignoring the obvious. Oh, and don’t reword what you said to somehow make it seem innocuous. The whole semantics thing is a game a child would play (or politician).[/QUOTE]
I did not change nor alter my original statement in any way. I merely explained my actions behind my original statement so this way it wouldn’t be misconstrued. I stand by my statement that you quoted above.

Alright, thanks for all the suggestions :D. I’ve been looking around for some good gloves to spar with, but I can only seem to find boxing gloves. What gloves do you guys usually use to spar, or do you do it without?
I must say I agree with shaolin on this one, the question was asked and he answered honestly.
U cannot expect everyone to agree to something they dont agree to just becuse of the sponser, everyone is entiltled to thier own opinon without being disresectful. since when is honesty frowned upon?
