His organization is based out of Denver, and I know he’s got an upcoming event either the first or second weekend of November out there.
I’ve got an aquaintance that refs some of his events and know that Derek puts on a good event. He’s also actively looking for new fighters.
Also, a good idea would be to post your question over at the Underground forum - www.mixedmartialarts.com - as there may be a promotion putting on events closer to your area.
