Gao Style Ba Gua In Somerville Mass.

Yep, Buddy Tripp strikes again! Fortunately.

This is a ten week course beginning Monday November 3 at the Sangha Tibet Resource Center from 6:30 to 8pm.

This is foundation work in Gao Style: jibengung, jibenshoufa, some of the tian gan, and working on circle walking.

Buddy’s one of the best teachers around.

Tuition is $225 for the ten weeks.

Sangha Tibet is located at 237 Holland Street in Teele Square in Somerville, MASS.

Contact John Barrett at 617-921-2101 for more info.

I saw this guy. He’s old and he sux. I heard he drinks. Plymouth is
a ****hole.

Don’t listen to Buddy at all.
Just go see him. He is the straight goods, that’s why he’s
being pulled oll over the state to get groups going.
You can’t hide when you’ve got good stuff Buddy. MA nerds will always find you, even if you have to go to page 300 on Google!

For anybody in the area interested in BaGua, this is your chance to get top notch instruction and insight into the YiZong branch of the Gao style BaGua as taught by Luo DeXiu.

While the focus will be BGZ at the seminar, Buddy also teaches Hebei Xingyi and Wu Style TaiJi both publicly and privately.

You can contact Buddy at www.lungmen.org.

Regards, Pete.

I would like to take a class like that someday, but am in a state of confusion regarding martial arts. I’ve taken 2 classes in Boston. One was Hung Gar it was too easy. The other was kuo shu, it was like being in the army. I got my ass kicked. So I’ve just been hitting the heavy bag and doing chi kung for like a year. The only thing I’ve seen recently that I really liked was this yi chuan dvd. I’m sure the class will be cool

Hello guys,

I live and pratice in Medford. Right next door to Somerville.

Normally I have things to do on Monday nights but next week I dont! So, would you mind if I stopped by to watch some of the class? I always liked looking at the way Ba Gwa coils and releases so it would be cool to see quality stuff up close. Plus! From watching Lou De Xiu’s video I can see he has very nice structure and it will be nice to see one of his students performing the art.

Regards,

Hi Jim,
I wouldn’t have minded at all but only two people showed up last night so its a no-go. I live in Plymouth and its a long drive. We might try it again after the first of the year.
Buddy

I’d be interested in this if I had a little more lead time to arrange my schedule. Today is the first I’ve heard of it. Maybe draw up some flyers for the local area or spam the other forums here.

Ford,

Give John a call (number is at the top of the thread). John is trying to reorganize and reschedule this program.

As Buddy said, too few showed up to make it worthwhile for him. It’s a shame, because I think most people don’t know the opportunity they are missing.

I wish I had gone. Sorry to hear the news

Jun_erh,

It still may happen in January. Give John Barrett a call at 617-921-2101 so he can keep you in the loop.

Or given that the schedule is not solid, you may have input into when it may happen.

Peace,
-Leo
