Does anyone want to buy them? I have 8 of them I’m thinking of selling. They’re 1lb each. They’re steel, so they’re not yellow (I know some people think the color matters). The only thing is they’re kinda loud when they hit together. I’ll measure them if anyone wants.
I know they’re expensive online, like $20 or $30 per pair or something like that.
They’re pretty loud when they hit together. That’s why I tied ribbon around some of them. It was supposed to make them a little quieter. I guess it worked. I can remove it if you want.
I’m going to put these on eBay in a few days.
Because of shipping expenses, I’d prefer only to send these in the US.
According to http://www.usps.gov, shipping will be about $13.38 for 6 days or $15.05 for 2 days. I assumed the package will weigh about 9lbs. Sometimes when I get to the post office they give me an entirely different number, tho, so I don’t know.
Just include shipping in the price so if you say $50 that would be $50 shipped. But I wouldn’t take $50 for all 8 anyway.
Yup, wrong color. Actually it’s the material, not actually the color. These are probably steel and look to be plated. I would be interested in brass, like we have at school. …And you need to hear the ringing.
You guys that think color matters… do you also think putting stickers on your cars adds horsepower? Your muscles recognize that extra weight has been added. It doesn’t give a crap what color or material the weight is. It’s like if you lift a 50lb dumbell or a 50lb rock, it’s all the same to your muscles.
Anyway, Shaolinlueb, I said make me an offer So send me a PM and we’ll bargain.
Of course color matters ! Not sure about sticker on a car, but the right color on a motorcycle definitely makes it faster – everybody knows that !
Ok, seriously - I don’t want chrome (any) plating, but beyond that, different metals can also make a difference (depending on how, how much you use them. Not just weight.
the inside circumfrance should be measured so guys will know whether or not they are too small or too big.
too big they will fly off
too small and you can’t wear em all.
I know the circumfrance can be calculated from the diametre, but what am I? A mathmatician? No, I can barely spell it phonetically!
cheers [/B]
I gave the inner diameter, and now you want inner circumference, too? Alright.
C = pi * diameter
3.25" x 3.1415 = 10.2"
So the inner diameter is 10.2" That should fit on just about anyone’s arm, altho it might not go too far past the wrist. Remember, the diameter of the ring is what is important here… your forearm circumference could be less than 10.2", but if it’s wider than 3.25" then it won’t go past that point.
^ Actually I was trying to explain that you could have smaller than 10.2" forearms and they still might not work. All you have to do is exceed 3.25" across at one point and they won’t fit.
