Euh .... kinda need help

I did some weird Qi Gong breathing exercises, like where you stand with palms down, then upwards, then hands facing eachother, then left hand on top, right hand on top. So I ded this, for about 5 minutes last week, 30 minutes before going to bed. In the morning I was awak at 7 o`clock, and it ws impossible for me to fall asleep again. Now yesterday I did it again at about the same time, and weird stuff, I was awakened at about the same time, and same feeling of not being able to sleep. I know it said not to do it before going to bed, but I wanted to test if it was because of the exercises it happend. Now does this mean that te exercises actually work and do something for my Qi ?

Possibly. I find after doing Qigong I feel a lot more energised, especially the next day.

As for the waking up at the same time, I can’t be sure but it oculd be a side-effect

You have no chance to survive - make your time.

This happened to me when I trained gongfu back in Phoenix. I was going almost nightly and class lasted sometimes over 3 hours. My teacher was trained in Wutang styles which emphasized lots of qigong. We did lots of endurance stuff/drills and also lots of breathing excercises. After training a few months like this I found that even though I got home sometimes after 1am, I awoke very early (around the same time every morning) and wasn’t tired and had lots of energy. I’d chalk it up to just good training having positive effects on your body.

hmm

I agree with David, there’s nothing wrong with getting up early! I now wake up early almost all the time, at least you don’t waste your day, and it helps when you have to go to work.
