Buying a curling bar

I am getting a curling bar and was wondering what other exercises can be done on on it besides military press, dead lift, and curling? And should I do the exercises consecutivley or weight a little bit like 15 mins between doing each one? Or should I just do them consecutivley?

skull crushers for the tri’s. Laying down and holding the bar above ya, bend at the elbows and lower the bar to your forehead to begin, then go behind the head - hence the name skull crushers. This can also be done using dumbbells. You can really isolate the tri’s nicely on this one.

wait a short period between reps - depending on the amount of weights your using, then get back at it. Go for quality moves not quantity.

How the hell do you do deadlifts with a curl bar?

Hey, on a side note, I saw this curl bar at a store once and it weighed like 5lbs. It was hollow metal! I was like, what a piece of crap.

When you say a curling bar, are you referring to a barbell? If you are, then you can do upright rows for the shoulders and trapezius muscles, shoulder shrugs for the shoulders, bend over rows for the back, forearm curls, bench press, narrowgrip benchpress for the tri’s abnd chest, and many others.

No it is not nearly as big as a barbell , not even close but it is not one of those little hand weights either.

IF you’re talking about a french curling bar, aka an EZ curl bar, the only advantageous thing is what Nospam said: skull-crushers. I wouldn’t use that for regular (bicep) curls. It doesn’t work as well as a normal barbell.
You could use it (if it is an EZ curl bar) for bent over rows.

you can also do side presses, one arm clean and jerk, one arm snatches, and so on.
