Just prior to the pandemic, I was embarking on a series of articles taking deep dives on traditional swordsmanship. The first one was planned for the ill fated Summer 2020 issue, which was canceled due to the Shelter in Place and the cessation of Kung Fu Tai Chi in print. It eventually ran in the Spring 2026.

The second was the aforementioned one in the Spring 2026 : Do Chinese Swords Make the Cut? (uncredited). There was an accompanying video that was lost to Covid.

The fourth is in the upcoming Mid-Autumn 2026, soon to be released: Do Chinese Swords Miss the Point?
