The best protein is the one that doesn’t come from soy (unless you like increased estrogen) or egg (unless you like your shakes to smell like egg f.arts, so I hear).
Cheers, I think im gonna try the bars tho. There slightly more expensive, But i’ts easyer than mixing up a shake, as i usualy go to work after the gym.

Over here the bars are roughly AUD$4 for a “high protein” bar with 30-40g protein. Say 40g. So that’s $1/10g == $100/kg. I pay 1/4-1/3 that for powder. If I could afford bulk buying I could be getting it for 1/8-1/6 the price of bars. Or, you could make your own bars. I made some a couple of weeks ago. Search this forum. I found a new recipe last weekend that I might try too.
for a while, i used bioplex mrp, then as my supply dwindled down here in houston (no nearby dealers), i started mixing it with bioplex’ wpi. the taste of the strawberry banana was ok, but i made the mistake of using a shaker and shaking shaking shaking shaking shaking shaking then drinking. i assumed that the gutbusting going on was because the protein was bad or something or that the taste was just blah enough to make me sick. turns out that shaking causes bubbles! who knew? anyway, the bubbles made me blurby, and i associated that blurbiness with the product. toward the end of my supply, i stopped shaking and just mixed it thoroughly, then let it sit a moment or two to finally dissolve, then i drank up. much better.
currently i’m using this stuff, mainly because the local gnc had it on sale. i’ll probably more of the bioplex mrp soon.
on a side note, i loved (relatively speaking, of course) the taste of these two, in order of preference: 1. abb’s pure pro 2. eas’ carb sense
both were a bit spendy to do in any quantity, but they were always handy.
