shut up, KKM
By far, the best poster ever is right here: http://adorocinema.cidadeinternet.com.br/personalidades/atores/farrah-fawcett/farrah-fawcett02.jpg
that was indeed a very popular poster…in 1978!
jebas chief, you’re dating yourself with that nugget of nostalgia. ![]()
That’s a classic piece of Americana, in more ways than one. ![]()
a little before my time but wonderful none the less.
Well thanks ![]()
My Sifu gave me the secret manual of Ya Hu style web fu.
Technique number one
“One thousand bee’s stinging” - All ways post at least twice as many words, so your thoughts out number your opponents.
Technique number two
“Through the grass comes the serpent” - Use flowery metaphor, allegory, and alliterations, to confuse your opponent as to your true attentions.
Technique number three
“Around the bend comes the chasing tiger” - Only wait for one response before posting again. That way your posts will flank top and bottom your opponents.
But don’t expect all my secrets of web fu!
I’ve allways enjoyed this poster of my favorite poster SeverStar. ![]()
Where did you find that pic?? I thought I destroyed all of those… There go my dreams of becoming president ![]()

thanks for the internet fu tips san
not exactly what I meant, but my favorite “poster” would be the one on the wall of my apartment for Killer Constable. You can see a bit of it on my avatar.
I vote 7*
There’s just so many good posters… SanHeChuan IS the master of Ya Hu Pai. SevenStar is always tough, fair and knowledgable. Jethro’s capacity for kung fu movie knowledge is rivaled only by his laid-back world-savvy-ness. And SPJ’s few words and multiple video link strategy hints that perhaps we’ve only scratched the surface of what this man has to offer the forums.
The only real way to settle this is an Underground Tournament of Champions. It can be a plot point in a “buddy cop” movie starring Hieronim and neilhytholt as the archtypical “police officers with clashing personalities who are reluctantly partnered together to solve something or other.” Any thoughts on a title?
I like movie posters.
fav Jackie Chan’s pose’.

we all give life to the threads.

a comedy clip about HK movie actors.
The commentator acted as the ganster head in “Kung Fu Hustle”.
On Liu De Hua (Andy Lau): he is an idol type. We have to make him “ugly” with long hairs or something so that he may start acting.
On Zhou Xin Chi (Steven Chow): we talked in Hang Zhou. I said he is an idol type. Zhou said what are you saying? I may not act? I then said he is the acting type. Zhou then said are you saying that I am ugly. After working and acting in Kung Fu Hustle whereas Zhou both acted and directed. Now I know that Zhou is the idol type actor and the acting type of a director.
On Jackie Chan: if I act in his movie, I have to have an insurance company and medical doctor lable all of my bones. So when I lose them, I may find them again.
On Liang Cao Wei: he is both an idol and actor type with 5 stars. And yet he is cheap. You may pay him one average movie salary and ask him to act in movies for 5 years.
On Wu Yan Zhu: I saw his acting in the “new police story”. If you want someone that looks nice and “beating” up Jackie well then ask him.
This clip has rare closeup of the popular HK movie actors.
