On Friday and Saturday October 14-15, Park Bok-Nam, senior lineage disciple of Lu Shui Tian, will be in Chicago to offer a two day seminar covering Health and Self-Defense training methods in baguazhang. Ba Gua Zhang, one of the primary internal systems of the Chinese martial arts – the others being Tai Chi Chuan and Hsing I Chuan, is known for its evasive footwork, devastating palm strikes, and dragon-like body movements.
Topics to be covered:
- Friday Evening 4-9pm- Baguazhang Qi Gong and Empty Hand Self-Defense
- Saturday 10am - 4pm - Baguazhang Broadsword Techniques and Broadsword Fighting
