Hey, when you guys do Gung Gee Fook Fu Kuen, do you use tension for the entire set, or just for the bridge arms part at the beginning?

I’ve heard people do it both ways so I’m curious which way you do it.

Although it depends on the way the sifu teaches the set, depends on what areas are done with dynamic tension.
For the most part, the 3 stretch arm movements are done with tension. Although there may be other areas inwhich tension is used, it varies from one school to the next. However, I have yet to see someone perform the entire set with tension.
