As for the silat guy, we talk on a regular basis. I need to go train with him again. He’s not actually trainig me in silat though - he has an excellent understanding of body mechanics and of form. If I’m off balance somewhere, he picks up on it instantly. he’ll look at the forms and then just bust out with like 20 different possible applications for a technique. He also has a good understanding of the body’s meridians, the cycle of destruction, creation. etc. I want to study that with him, if he’ll let me.

speaking of challenge matches, reemul and willow sword are supposed to fight tonight. they compared forms last week and are fighting tonight at reemul’s school, I think. you can see the thread on the shaolin forum.
