Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if there were any other Black Tiger stylist here?

I’m a student of Master Woo who is a student of Grandmaster Wong Cheung.Grandmaster Wong Cheung learned Black Tiger in Hong Kong around 1928 from Fung Ping-Wai a former Shaolin Monk who had returned to a worldly life.Fung Ping-Wai learned Black Tiger from another Shaolin Monk who had learned from another Shaolin Monk that was a disciple of the founder of Black Tiger style.The Shaolin Monk that created Black Tiger was Soo Hak Fu.

So,

Are there any Shantung or Fu Jow Pai Black Tiger Stylist here?

but, I practice Black Tiger Kungfu…but you know that already. :smiley:

Well, some of sifu’s students are here, floating around. sifu even comes here now and then.

There are some Fu Jow Pai guys here every now and then too.

I haven’t really heard a lot from any Shantung BT pracs though.

I know there are many different Black Tiger styles both of Chinese and non-Chinese background.

I’m familiar with your sifu and his school.I’ve never met him ,but i have spoken with him a few times thru e-mail.I also speak with Kung Lek fairly often.
