Is this movie any good?

My perception from the cover of the video cassette is the it is at least good.~
Very some such, perhaps might have been, likely say some, some not.
Which one, the origanl or the remake? The original is a true classic.

Blood, cuts, fantastic (fantasy) fights and such (a little nudity). D is a bad dude! It is graphic, follows a story that isn’t always detailed, and has a strong hero charcter. The hero’s voice doesn’t seem to fit his body in the American version…but whata you going to do?
I liked it. My friends liked it. I would recommend seeing it.

As Fantasy Anime goes it’s pretty good. haven’t seen the english dub version so I’m not sure how some of the mythology translates… Still prefer Akira,Monenoko & Wolf Brigade’s naturalism… & the over the top Fist of the North Star.
but still… I’d prefer D over say… bubblegum crisis…
Now who’s seen Supernatural Beast City AKA Wicked city???
I think Wicked City is okay but IMO it gets a bit boring at times…artwork is cool, though.
Vampire Hunter D is pretty good.
(Of course, my faves are Ninja Scroll, Princess Mononoke, Akira, etc…had to plug them!)
