Just wanted to ask if anybody out there knows about the Drunken Mantis style… I’m quite interested in it.

There isn’t a drunken mantis style per se. However, there is a drunken mantis hand form within the various mantis systems. I’m not sure, but I think it’s an advance form.

In the rec.martial.arts faq, they say it’s some family or clan style.
If it’s a form, is there a place on the net where I can download it?
(I REALLY would like to learn it the REAL way - from a sifu, but here in Germany, Kung Fu sifus are rare, and Praying Mantis sifus even rarer, ta least where I live…)

There is a halfdrunken mantis set in the 7 star system. I was told it is called half drunken lohan. Yes it is an advance set. Not a system

Only 3 simple drunken steps. A few ground fighting methods/kicks. then roll up for normal 7star techniques.
Don’t be excited it may not be as exciting as you expect. Like most 7 Star sets it introduce differing concepts rather than a multitude of wonderous drunken techniques.
