Anyone know much about wood monkey? My understanding is it has a lot to do with limb destruction, but that’s about all I know.

Wooden Monkey systems (forms) may vary from style to style. I’ve seen a Wooden Monkey form demonstrated from Da Sheng Men (aka Tai Shin Mun).
I wasn’t demonstrated applications, but I think there were some limb destructions in there, yeah.
More generally, speaking from a Da Sheng Men perspective, the Wooden Monkey sub-system is hard and direct, using a lot of external power and centered around the centerline.
