If this is not an article worth printing in the latest issue of “Inside Kung Fu”, “Black Belt”,etc.-I don’t know what is!! I am not interested in the few narrow minded kung fu masters who insisted that Bruce teach only Chinese have to say. What I am interested in knowing is..with the recent resurgance of Shaolin in the martial arts community in the past decade-what do they think of his philosophy, of his JKD as a “formless form”, him as a person, his skill and if he was onto something or not? I mean ALL the current shaolin temples. Any opinions?
yeah, they’d sell t-shirts, and erect a wing of the temple for it, have shaolin jkd monks demonstrating, maybe a world tour, then some can defect and pose for pictures with low-life rap stars, put out a series of video tapes, open up a few schools,…nah, who am I kidding? That could never happen.
