In our style we practice a kick called chuin sum toi, or through the heart kick.
Does anyone else have the same or similar kick in their style?

Yes there is a kick similar to this in Yau Kung Mun, sorry I forget the name .Though I think this kick is in a higher form I haven’t learnt yet but I have a couple of kicks that do hit the heart or that area though I don’t think they go by that name . I’ll check with my sifu or he’ll read this post a correct me.

I practice Lau Gar in the UK.The kick i mentioned
starts out like a front kick then twists as it hits the target(heart area).The supporting leg pivots onto the ball of the foot.

Chuka Shaolin Phoenix Eye fist has a kick called the Heart Penetrating kick or(Chuan Sin Chiau).

It is a basic kick and a advanced kick.It is applied very simaliar to the way you described your kick.
