Furthermore, he asks that James Sun’s students stop using his name to promote themselves.
Joel credits Chong Lee in training him and for his victories in UFC’s 6 and 7.

What’s wrong with James Sun? Why are so many issues with this guy? Can Master Sun speaks for himself and answer some of XYGIE and BFD’s questions? Peace for all!!!
funny how facts change in retrospect, but whatever I don’t use his name to get students to train with me. The almighty Joel can rest assured that I won’t talk about him (not that I ever do).
Where is Master Sun? First of all there aren’t all of these problems, there are a few people that got booted that are pissed, so they make 20 usernames to make is seem like there are legions. MasterSun doesn’t care about what they say, he probably doesn’t even know this place exists. I have no problems, no one currently training or practicing does either. Every tree needs to be pruned of it’s dead branches in order to grow stronger.

I am not sure if Joel ever reached Sifu status, I will check to see. To make sure I have my facts straight. As for training for the UFC, I know he trained at the Vermillion school for a bit to prepare for those fights. If Master Sun did not train him, why is Master Sun in all the pictures for those events with Joel? Why was Master Sun and Sifu Kevin Loftus his cornermen for those fights. I will scan those pictures and post them here, if that is possible. If not then I will email them to anyone who wants them. I do know that Joel Sutton is not involved with Master Sun anymore. I am curious to know what students were using his name to promote themselves.

Joel was made a Sifu through our 8 Step Praying (with an a) Mantis “Boxing” Alliance.
Did he get fries with that? Anyone can call themselves whatever they like. It doens’t make you truly a Sifu. You can make your own whatever, but the fact remains, you have no source. Your well has run dry, so while my training continues and my abilities increase, your left to ponder over the same techniques and guess at how they might fit together. Sure It’s gonna take 20 years to learn the heart and soul of 8 Step, but it’s better to remain a student and really be learning than to break off of the source and call yourself Supreme High Granmaster and really be oblivious to the more advanced material.

I am not sure by how replying to your post is using Joel’s name to promote myself. Whenever I have ever talked to a fight promoter, I have never used Joel’s name for anything. I don’t know Joel nor have I ever met him. Not that I would mind meeting him. Learning what it is like to step foot in the Octogon would be cool. The only reason that I have mentiod Joel’s name was because of your post.
Now that I have thought on it a bit, the only way I could be using Joel’s name to promote myself is if a fight promoter is here on the Kung Fu online, and because he read this post, he want me to fight in his show. Some how I seriously doubt that is going to happen.
