I just watched a Scott Sonnon video - since I have both Judo and Shuai Chiao in my background it was like old home week.
Sambo seems to fill some gaps - especially on the ground. The training ‘launguage’ has already helped me to explain to others what I mean much better.
I saw nothing new on the tape, but I am eager to see more because Sambo has some areas of skill that are more ‘fleshed out’ than what I have been exposed too.
Sonnon also looked like a very competent fighter.
Great stuff. These guys deserve kudos. (and this is coming from a Shuai Chiao snob! Yikes!)
